Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies hitting Android on July 25?

Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies is a mobile game available on iOS devices so far, although we have good news for Android smartphone and tablet owners who enjoy hacking, slashing and shooting any zombie that moves around, virtually speaking naturally.

The game is apparently headed to Google Play and although availability dates are not official at this time, it would appear the game will be launched in just a few days on July 25.

How do we know this? The folks over at XperiaGamer have uncovered a blog post on the official Call of Duty website that presents the Android Field Manual of Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies. While the post in question has been taken down for the time being, it would seem that it’s supposed to be republished on July 25, which is when we’ll expect the game to be released.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies will feature 50 levels and if that’s not enough it will also come with multiplayer support – local, via Bluetooth, or online. The game sells for $6.99 in the App Store, so we’d expect a similar price for the Android version.

Anyone excited? Or are you playing Dead Trigger instead? That zombie-killing game is now available as a free download from Google Play.
